South Island Sevens
Event Details
The South Island Sevens is a brand new event, located on the Sunny Isle of Wight.
16 Elite Men’s and 8 Elite Women’s teams will play Saturday May 21st 2022. A further 12 men’s and 12 women’s social teams play Sunday.
The UK Sevens big guns have signed up, Apache 7’s, Lomaiviti 7s, Wyvern Harlequins. Ramblin’ Jesters, Butcher 7’s Gog’s Raiders, Godfathers, Fiji UK, Lions, Karuta Wild Dogs, Nigeria Exiles are amongst the 16 elite men’s sides making their way across the Solent courtesy of Red Funnel Ferries.
Event organisers spectator tickets are selling well and expect a 2,500+ crowd There is a BBQ and Cider Festival sponsored by Thatchers Cider along side, On site Camping is £10.00 a head for the weekend Friday to Monday.
